Stone Bridge - the heart of Town
Named for the infamous original bridges that crossed the Sakonnet Passage (which is called the Sakonnet River, even though it's not a river), this is the heart of historic Tiverton. Here you'll find the town hall, eclectic shops like "Natures," a great coffee house, and a marina or two. At the southern end, the famous Evelyn's Restaurant, and in the north, the popular Moulin Rouge and The Boathouse. Picturesque homes and cottages cluster on the hillside overlooking the Sakonnet. A charming area!
